Ellie Grant joined Connect Plus Services in July 2015 as an IT Graduate through the Balfour Beatty graduate scheme. She has embarked on a four-year programme that will develop her technical and managerial skills in the IT/Business Intelligence Team, based at our main office in South Mimms.
Ellie attended a Balfour Beatty graduate assessment day in August, undertaking group and individual presentations based on a construction scenario, a technical written test relating to her current role and a one-to-one interview.
Asked to describe her experience Ellie said:
“The day was very busy but I had opportunity to meet candidates from other parts of the business, such as civil engineers and quantity surveyors, as well as managers and existing graduate trainees. I was very pleased to hear that I had been accepted onto the graduate training scheme having achieved one of the highest scores on the day. I know that being a graduate trainee will provide additional training opportunities and is a great start to my career with Connect Plus Services.”
