CPS has won a Silver National Site Award, at the Considerate Constructor Scheme 2015 awards. The awards celebrate registered companies that have made the greatest contribution towards improving the image of construction.
Since 1999, the Scheme has been rewarding the UK’s most considerate sites for the contribution they have made towards improving the image of construction.
CPS has been recognised as demonstrating “exceptional and ongoing commitment to considerate construction and an appreciation of the impact of its work on the community, the environment and its workforce.”
CPS has seven depots around the M25 network, some close to residential areas, and we take our responsibility as considerate neighbours seriously.
Our delivery of the scheme’s Code of Conduct has seen CPS receive several accolades for “performance beyond compliance” since we first registered in 2009.
The Scheme looks at the measures a site has put in place to be more considerate towards local neighbourhoods and the public, the workforce, and the environment.
Representatives from CPS received the award from Peter Hansford, Government Chief Construction Adviser, and Simon Carr, NFB’s National Chair, in a ceremony last week at Plaisterers’ Hall in London, in front of over 300 industry professionals.
